I remember sitting in class as a kid, half-listening to the lectures, as I doodled in the margins of my notes. I would get caught and scolded for it by my teachers but, but the habit persisted. All I wanted to do was draw, and if I wasn't creating something, I just couldn't engaged. It's probably why I felt so detached for most of my school life. When I reflect on my journey from that kid, to aimless teen, to engineering student, to now a designer, I realize I've just been chasing that feeling of doodling in the margins. I'm hardwired to be a creative, I dont know what else I'd be doing if I wasn't.
As for my approach to design, it's finding a balance between curiosity, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving. I believe inspiration can be found anywhere — in books, movies, even take-out menus — but I do have a soft spot for illustration. For me, the exploration of a problem is just as interesting as arriving at its solution which is why I'm always willing try experimenting and trying new things.
